Problem: Many Anderson University college students navigate the tension between vulnerability & deep connection with others. While aware of the necessity of both, they lack the opportunity of authentic & empathetic relationships.
Approach: How might we create an interactive experience for AU students that equips them to alleviate tensions & offers opportunities for relationships?
Solution: The Conversation House is an interactive exhibit experience that equips AU students to form empathetic relationships. The space accomplishes this goal through five stations that parallel the stages of conversation, namely, Introduction, Listening, Asking, Checking In, and Connecting. Our objective is for participants to feel comfortable as they are encouraged to interact with the space and other attendees in a playful and humble manner.
